Free, ad-free and built to teach

METEO / Atlas has no adverts and no subscriptions. It is an educational project: showing how a weather forecast is really made, with open data and without hiding the uncertainty. Using it is free; keeping it running is not.

Three ways to lend a hand

Buy us a coffee

A one-off or monthly contribution, whatever size you like. It pays for the server that downloads the models every 20 minutes and for the tools we build it with, artificial intelligence included.

Buy us a coffee

Secure payment on Ko-fi: we never see or store your payment details.

Sponsor the project

If your company or organisation believes in open, well-explained weather information, let's talk: your name will appear here as a sponsor and in the talks and workshops where we present it.

Talk about sponsorship

Use it and tell us

Answer “Did we get it right?” after alerts, and tell us what is unclear and what you miss. Every piece of feedback improves the tool for everyone.

Why educational

Understanding the weather, not just checking it.

  • Uncertainty in plain sight: “9 out of 10 scenarios” teaches more than a bare percentage.
  • Accuracy, published: the dashboard itself shows how wrong each model gets it.
  • Open data and credited sources: ECMWF, NOAA, DWD, Copernicus and AEMET, each with its licence.
  • For classes and workshops: past episodes, model comparison and a notebook to study cases. If you teach or run workshops, get in touch.

Sponsors

None yet. Would you like to be the first? Write to us at info@fourmartech.es.

Important: donations and sponsorship help keep the service running, but they do not change what it is: forecasts from numerical models, with no guarantees and no substitute for official warnings. Read the disclaimer. For now the dashboard itself is in Spanish; English and Catalan are on the way.
