The weather that affects you, explained clearly.

Six weather models, radar and the official warnings from AEMET, the Spanish weather service, turned into answers: when to leave, when to work and when to warn.

  • —own model downloads up to date
  • —active AEMET warnings
  • —latest ECMWF run

Why six models

No model is always right. Together, they get it wrong less often.

We compare the European ECMWF (including its artificial intelligence model and 51 scenarios), the American GFS, the German ICON, the French ARPEGE and the British UKMO. We correct their quirks with what weather stations actually measure, and tell you how far to trust the result.

Near the calibrated stations, that correction cuts tomorrow's temperature error by 13.5 % compared with a plain average of the models.

Outdoor events

An hour-by-hour traffic light for your set-up, with the reason for each colour, when to decide and an alternative.

  • Open air, marquees, or a stage with lighting towers.
  • How reliable the forecast is for the day of the event.
  • Another hour or another day if the weather does not cooperate.
“Do we put up the marquees or wait? How long can we leave the decision?”The question the events traffic light answers.
